This system will keep a truck from rolling back for up to two seconds after the release of the brake pedal. Another towing-related improvement has been added to all of Ford's 4x4s. This upgrade is the addition of neutral towing capabilities. F-150 drivers will now be able to flat-tow their trucks.
Every F-Series trim level includes best in class mileage and capabilities. Each truck also has an efficient six-speed automatic transmission that can handle drivers' needs with ease.
All of these changes make the 2012 Ford F-Series easier to use, but the automaker didn't stop with the basics. The FX trim level in particular has been the subject of many cosmetic improvements. The distinctive new look includes flat black wheels, red-lettered badges and stylish side graphics.
